Weight Loss Motivation Tips

Wow, I can’t believe it is the 4th of July! While you are all out celebrating, I got super motivated to make some updates to my website and write this blog. Yes, this one right here. But first I’m going to tell you a little story then I’ll give you the weight loss motivation tips that you are seeking for :0)

In August of 2014 I invested in hiring a fancy branding and website company after seeing that on average 14 thousand unique people come to my blog each month. I know CRAZY!! I couldn’t believe it, here are all these ladies and some men that are looking for weight loss motivation tips.

So then I decided the next year re-branding Fitabolize, coming out with a new website, creating some new free and paid programs would be my focus over the next 3 months before the New Year’s Resolution rush would happen. So I hired the fancy website team, I got a website coach, I booked my first ever fitness photoshoot, and started to write the content for each page of my website. I used to write a blog once a week but decided that I should put ALL my extra time into my new website.

NOTE: When you have a goal, invest in a coach to help you along your journey.

Then January came along and my website wasn’t complete so I put it on hold to do my Get Fit Formula Challenge. It was so fun working with 350 people over 28 days with developing healthy habits with their fitness and nutrition. The success stories were awesome and I’m so happy I was able to help lead you. When I did 10 1-on-1 calls with some of the challengers many of them said that they were in the same spot from the year before. I totally understood since I was feeling the same way about my new website. Even though I was helping so many people, I still had in the back of my mind, “oh, I’ve got to get this new website up because of those 14K people”.

NOTE: Watch out for shiny objects that get you off focus from accomplishing your goals.

After the challenge completed I started working on my website content again. While striving for perfection, I made sure every page looked awesome before submitting it to my coach to review. Then finally I submit it but then changed my language calling “it” then “first round”.

Then I decided oh I don’t like my free gifts; Sugar Buster Challenge, 14 Day Simply Strong With Liz At Home Workout Program, or the other 10 that I’ve created so I had an idea how about I come up with a bunch of new ones! So instead of just completing my website I created free gifts for Food Allergies, Training for your PRT, and a Fitness Checklist to keep you motivated.

NOTE: Fear gets in the way by telling you that you’ve got to do this one thing first before but then you never get to what is really important to you.

So now it is July and its coming close to 1 year since hiring that fancy website company and I still haven’t completed it! I know that I’m not alone. You may feel like this in your business, your weight loss journey, or in a certain area in your life. You hire a coach, you read the book, you watch the training videos, and you have all the best intentions to make a positive shift in your life but something always seems to get in the way of accomplishing your goals.

I’m here to encourage you to that you’ve got to just do it. Don’t wait for a sign from God or for everything in your life to be perfect. If you do this then you will look back a year from now and think to yourself “ah man, why am I still here”?

Don’t let another year go by, a month go by, or another week go by without following these weight loss motivation tips.

1.  Got a  goal? Invest in a coach that holds you accountable week by week till you accomplish your goal.

2. Stay focused!!! Other weight loss programs, life drama, or comparing yourself to others will make you lose focus and make mistakes. So make sure that your coach gives you a step-by-step plan that leads to your 3 month, 6 month, or 12 month goals.

3. Fear paralyzes!!! If you are trying to set up your perfect little life, save money, or wait till you have more time to start to lose weight then you are procrastinating and most likely having fear of success or fear of failure creep in. Just Do It 🙂

Thank you for reading this! I pray that it has encouraged you and that you are more motivated. You can count on me to follow my words of wisdom above and just do it. In the mean time, I am getting back on my routine of uploading a YouTube Video every Wednesday and putting up a new blog every Thursday again.

Stay connected and inspired!
