Let’s increase your endurance and do cardio 3 times this week. Recent exercise guidelines prescribe up to an hour of exercise each day. Now, you may be sitting there rolling your eyes thinking to yourself, how can I find an hour per day to do something that I can’t seem to find 5 minutes for? Keep reading and I’ll give you the simple facts about cardio and what you can do to make them fit into your life.
If your goal is to:
- Get Started – Beginners do cardio with something fun and simple to do like walking quicker or biking.
- Be Healthy – do cardio 5 days per week for 30 minutes
- Lose Weight – do cardio 5-6 days per week for 45-60 minutes in cardio zone 70-85% max heart rate.

I’m right there with you and am increasing my cardio this month. My goal is to drop 10 lbs and from my experience increasing cardio in the AM has done the trick.
